I am deeply saddened by the passing of my beloved Auntie Cecie, her kindness, guidance and generosity have left a lasting impact on my life. Frommy days at the University of Ghana and our working relationship at the Ministry of Trade and Tourism; she was always there to lend a helping hand. She was a dear friend and mentor, offering wise words and unwavering support. Her influence extended beyond our professional lives, as she encouraged me to prioritise my well-being and explore the world around us, one step at a time. Her creativity and insight inspired the name of my company, Home-Dékor, a testament to her lasting legacy. I cherish the memories of our walks, from the Switchback Road to the Police Headquarters and back, laughter and shared moments. Her love and dedication to my family, especially my daughters, Naa Aadua & Goldie, is a shining example. As I grapple with the loss of my dear Auntie Cecie and my dear Sass, who died two days after Auntie Cecie, I am reminded of the fragility and preciousness of life. Though I may not have answers to the whispers of coincidence, I take comfort in the love, laughter, and memories we shared. Your memory will continue to inspire and uplift us. Dela will always share the special place in my heart with my daughters Naadua and Goldie. Rest in peace, our dear Auntie Cecie.
